When we first opened our doors in 1980, the recruiting industry looked very different. There were no faxes, no computers, no emails, no text messages, and no offshore research teams. Even something as simple as making a long-distance phone call required an operator. Resumes were submitted to clients through the post office, and when timing was critical, they were sent by special delivery. That was the pace of business—and it worked.
Over the years, technology has transformed how we work. Fax machines, personal computers, direct dial long-distance, email, and now advanced digital tools have revolutionized the recruiting process. Each innovation made our work not necessarily easier, but more efficient, accurate, and thorough. What once took days or weeks can now be accomplished in hours, allowing us to deliver deeper research, broader reach, and faster results for our clients.
As we celebrate 45 years, RSA represents both a continuation of our tradition and a bold move into the future.
